What we collect and how we use it

Information collection

When you use IPTV Checker, we collect only what is needed to run the service and improve reliability:

  • IPTV URLs you submit for on-demand checking (as described below). Integrator API checks are not written to the same URL history table as normal form checks, and the API response does not echo your line back.
  • Basic usage data (e.g. pages visited, aggregated traffic)
  • Technical data such as IP address and browser type for security and abuse prevention

Opt-in reminders (email / Telegram)

If you explicitly enable scheduled reminders, you request that we keep an encrypted copy of the IPTV URL, your contact (email or Telegram chat ID), a reminder threshold, and a random token so you can cancel. We use this only to re-check the line on a schedule and, when the server reports that days remaining is at or below your threshold, to send a short message.

Reminder messages are written so they do not include your full M3U line. Creation is rate-limited; notifications are throttled (for example, not more than one alert per you within a long window). You can cancel with the manage token you receive at sign-up or the cancel link in the message, where we offer one.

How we use your information

We use this information to:

  • Provide IPTV link verification
  • Improve performance and fix issues
  • Maintain security and prevent abuse

Data security

We use industry-standard practices including HTTPS in production, rate limiting, and secure server configuration. Access to administrative tools is protected with strong authentication.

Retention

Operational logs may be retained for a limited time for security and analytics. We do not use submitted IPTV URLs for marketing, and we do not sell personal data.

Third-party services

We do not sell your information. Some infrastructure (e.g. hosting) may process requests as part of delivering the site; those providers are bound by their own policies and our configuration.
